Baloney, guy.
Haha, so they do?!? Cool.
If teams had an aversion to guys that go to strip clubs, the major leagues would be exclusively populated by Girl Scouts and tired old farts like you.

You have no clue, guy. It’s okay, though. Keep arguing that professional teams are dying to sign guys to long term contracts who get stabbed in altercations at strip clubs. Makes a lot of sense!
Time to learn:
2021:
1. Pham didn’t have a very good year in San Diego.
2. Pham would be a FA for the first time at season’s end.
3. Pham would turn 34 in March, 2022, making his first season to sign a FA deal as a 34 YEAR OLD.
So essentially you think it’s weird that:
1. A team didn’t give a 34 year old a LT contract after an okay season
2. Same for 35 year old
3. 36 year old…
4. 37 year old…
As you can see, DeJong and Grichuk, for example, are at the same point of their careers (and still younger than Pham when TP his free agency).
It ain’t weird.
It’s only weird to them if it’s Tommy Pham
For anyone else it’s normal

It’s funny, right?
It’s unfortunate that Tommy finally reached FA at 34. And it unfortunate he didn’t have Justin Turner stats going into FA in his mid 30s.
It’s crazy he’s hung on for 4 years and at 37, while a guy like Luke Voit is playing in Japan.

Tommy had a real rough upbringing. But his problem is that he makes it everyone else's problem.
I don't know if he knows that or not. He doesn't seem to be particularly self-aware.
He’s had plenty of time, money, and opportunity for counseling, life coaching etc. not taking advantage and improving himself can’t be blamed on his childhood.

He sounds like a good guy from the Rosenthal article.
Lots of people are good guys some of the time, maybe even most of the time. If however, you turn into an utterly unstable person when things don't go your way, it doesn't matter if you are a decent dude when the mood strikes you. We all have bad days and bad reactions. He seems to have no ability to control his. Other people don't want to be around that type of person.

I don't disagree. I'm sure all of us had/have some parts of our lives that we're working through. Tommy has ample opportunity to work on Tommy. But I don't get the sense that he wants to.
