Poor leadership and lack of maturity. The manager should end that (bleep) if the players dont get it.
Winn knew he messed up, and was determined to make up for it. My thing is, why not play with that determination all the time! Certainly that’s on the players, but it’s also on the Manager to enforce that, especially when dealing with young players!
Players will make errors. And there will be occasional brain lapses. But you (drat) sure shouldn't be laughing about it on the field or in the dugout.
Oh I agree, 100%

Ask your phone , why do some athletes laugh after making an error in sports? You will find that it is not about being serious nor a disrespect but a coping mechanism for some .
Won’t go into all the specifics but do it on your phone and you can read about it.

The Cards had a killer bullpen in 2025; it was deeper than 2024 even though the top guys maybe not quite as good. Too bad they spent most of the year behind the other teams.

With better starters (and defense), we could have been somebody!

The 2025 bullpen is almost mistake proof. Just pick a guy and he gets outs. Marmol has done better with matchups, I think, this year, too.

The Cards are not trying to "be a contender", but they weren't that far away. 2 starters and a RF would have made a big difference.

MdCreevy in the rotation for the entire season would have made a difference.
