MORONS
Not to mention how the team is currently 3 position players short and calling up JJ will not hurt his time clock situation.
BINGO!

Only an idiot would keep JJW on the farm............oh wait, I forgot who's still the POBO. :x

He won't fill Busch Stadium but BDWJr could see a little bump bringing him up, fans want to see this kid who will become the Face of the Franchis!

All are contributors, including inflationary effects (have you been to the grocery store recently, Red?), along with a mediocre product on the field.

Sure, I go the grocery store. I had no idea that had anything to do with Cardinal attendance. I actually thought it had to do with a very mediocre product on the field.

The stadium would be full if the ownership group hadn’t gone completely apathetic and taken their fans for granted. Hopefully they’re not convincing themselves of these same excuses

There is inflation nationwide. It doesn't seem to bother the 18 teams ahead of them in attendance.

None of this is MO-RAN'S fault...I heard it was too hot for old people who might combust in the stands or people were going to soccer matches instead!

That bit never gets old. Old people combusting, going to soccer games. Riotously funny.

Daze - younger people like continuous action sports - soccer,
lacrosse, ice hockey, basketball, etc. I see it in my grandkids and their friends. They’re not participating in baseball as much. Older fans understand the nuances of the game as well as the traditions. Does heat and humidity play into it for older people? You bet it does. As well as just getting around. It’s not just being at the game. It’s the parking, the walk to and from the stadium, the crowds, the lines at concession stands, etc. Much easier to watch on TV. I see it in lots of friends who just don’t want the hassle of going downtown to a game any longer.

You can get into today’s game for $23. That’s very affordable. If people aren’t going, it’s because they don’t want to. They haven’t been given a reason.

so....bring up a player to boost attendance...which of course benefits and lines the pockets of an owner that everyone dislikes...

that's really quite a plan...

and Rock calls ownership Morons...

Are these also the reasons why less than 2 months ago you started a thread chastising people for not going to games?

You are a clown Cranny. Your “reasoning” depends upon which way the wind blows.

He does make good points in this post. Players like Trout, Judge, and Ohtani would have been household names 30-40 years ago but how many kids would know them now? And even when we lived 3 hours away we liked going to DT St. Louis, but I could see why others don't find it compelling. And they need a much more exciting product to get the middle aged and elderly fans out of the comfort of their easy chairs, AC, and 4K TVs. Bloom has a ton of work to do.
