I think it's time to pull Gray...
He never bothered to show up to begin with.
win? nope
loss? probably
no decision still possible
When your team gifts you with a 5-2 lead after you put them in a 0-2 first inning hole, you have to show up.
Gray made some really stupid choices and also failed to execute by putting too many balls on a tee for NYY.
Inexcusable in any weather.
Fried did just the opposite after his team picked him up.
And now, the rout is on.

Gray
76 PC in four innings
He should have to pitch the whole game. Only way he can earn his bloated salary is by saving the bullpen.
But people love to make excuses for the guy that he doesn't like to pitch in hot weather. Remind me what season baseball is played in.
Yes. A very high percentage of St Louis summers is 90 degrees plus.
In fairness.. perhaps no one told him it is hot in STL in the summer?
But but but he grew up in TN.
Played football and baseball for Smyrna High School in Nashville, TN.
Pitched for the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville, TN.
I guess the only logical conclusion is that it is way way much hotter in St. Louis MO than Nashville, TN.
