I can remember that like it was yesterday. This 9yo was in Iowa in my grandparent's kitchen with my dad and grandpa, listening to the final outs from a crackling radio station in northern Missouri. The house was mostly dark because the women had all gone to bed and there we were hanging on every work of Jack Buck. Miss those days.
