What could they ever get that rates better. The goal is to get the best, they did. He ain’t leaving.

And then you counter with junk. Pure junk for a super star.

I’m muffed.
You’re probably right but I still see them as a spot to DUMP Arenado and I’m willing to sweeten the pot to do so. It’s too important to long term plan (if there is one).
We offer nothing. Helsley is our best chip. That’s the main issue for me- the ability to match other teams offers. We have a bunch of flightless birds. So we combine them into a package. This serves two purpose- one rid us of junk, two it attempts to sweeten the pot with numbers/ both fail.

Winn Scott or Walker starts a major conversation. The rest is just fodder.

At this point to Yankee fans he is the next Aaron Judge. At one point Volpe was the new Jeter and Dominguez the next Mantle.
Yankees love Donovan so that would be the starting point. They would also ask for Helsley.
Jones is no guarantee, the upside is high but he could also be the new Joey Gallo which is the most likely outcome. I don’t at this point see the Yankees dealing him until they get a clearer picture of who he is. Yankee fans are still (bleep) about the Jay Buehner trade! Just think if they traded Jones and he becomes like Judge.

He's a lefty bat but we desperately need power wherever you can get it.

Give them whatever they need for the guy!
"Whatever they want huh ?' Ok they say they want Roby, Crooks, this years 2nd round pick Mitchell, Jordan Walker and Gorman
Do you give them that haul ?

I’d start with Helsley, personally. But no not whatever they want
Right, you have to start with their needs. They're a playoff contender. 3B, SP, and relief. Helsley is good place to start.
