The two players who had badass brothers and made badass teammates will always be on my list.
Barclay and Brian.
Nobody cared about “playing for each other” more than those two.
Barclay was the oldest of three NHL brothers and Brian was the oldest of the six Sutter brothers that played in the NHL

They are the two longest serving Captains in the history of the franchise. Brian Sutter was our captain for nine goddanged years.

The other two carved faces can be from the lists of stellar players mentioned in this thread. If you give me those two, I am happy.’

Hull
Federko
Pronger
Binner
This is the right answer! Now if we aren’t talking about best players, then Plager and Sutter may belong on there. Maybe we need a Mt Rushmore of most influential players in Blues history, anyone?
Binner is NOT better than Glenn Hall was with the Blues. Binner is good, don't get me wrong. His 2019 run and Cup win (over 26 hames) was epic. So was Hall, with what was in reality a very pedestrian team in front of him. It's hard to compare and contrast two goaltenders separated by 50 years of equipment, game play, and rules innovation. Binner won a Cup, Hall a Smythe in a losing effort, and a Vezina. He really was THAT good, as an "old" man athletically.

I do not disagree with giving the nod to Binner. He deserved the Smythe. For both of these guys, that's what it takes to be the best, superhuman effort and production.
Since we're calling it "Mt. Rushmore" I think its deeper than some of these. The 4 Presidents on Mt. Rushmore aren't "The Greatest Presidents". It represents the first 150ish years of the country and represents, Founding, Expanding, Preservation, and Development. You can't literally translate that to a team, but.......

Bobby Plager - The OG Blue. The man has done EVERYTHING for this franchise. He has set every precedent of how a "Blue" conducts himself. At least according to what I hear from the Alumni.

Bernie Federko - The first true "Blues" Hall of Famer. Still representing the team and the community.

Brett Hull - This needs no explanation, is anyone ever going to argue if Mr. "We Went Blues!" is on this mountain?

Jordan Binnington - To me, this would be an argument if any other group of Blues became Champs. To leave a Champion and franchise leader in wins off the mountain seems wrong. Only rookie with 16 wins, and he saved Game 7 of the Finals in the first period. Binner's the 4th IMHO

I love both, and I hate picking, but isn't Barclay more notable for his hockey than Bobby?
