Was it Bloom who insisted McGreevy stay up (after we watched Mo yo-yo him all season up & down) and also "suggested" just DFAing Fedde?

It happens in corporate America all the time. Growth office joins but sits on the side lines learning etc for months / year before taking over or really any executive. It happens all the time.
Anyway if their flawed logic holds true we have another Moe on our hands.
Maybe like “Off Key Chime”? OKC?
After all, he isn’t a bow-tie wearing, sweater-tied around the neck, pompous, clueless, worthless slug like his predecessor.
I never said he was running the show. I've said he has final say (or at the very least, veto power) over any roster decisions effecting 2026 and beyond. There's a difference. He would not have signed a deal without saying over what he was left with.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 04:34 am I think it’s Moe but a select few think Chaim wouldn’t take a 5 year deal with one of them being a transition year.

I’m not surprised that you “know a lot of guys who wear bow ties and sweater tied around the neck.”Cranny wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 13:29 pmBomber1 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 11:37 amHe may never get a nickname.Cranny wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 08:41 amAre going to give Chaim a nickname like “Moe”?Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 04:34 am I think it’s Moe but a select few think Chaim wouldn’t take a 5 year deal with one of them being a transition year.

I know a lot of guys who wear bow ties and sweater tied around the neck. Do you have a problem with that? If so, why?
Yes, I know guys who dress like that, as do a number of other posters. But we probably don’t factor that into our “judgement” of them like you do.Bomber1 wrote: ↑24 Jul 2025 09:39 amI’m not surprised that you “know a lot of guys who wear bow ties and sweater tied around the neck.”Cranny wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 13:29 pmBomber1 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 11:37 amHe may never get a nickname.Cranny wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 08:41 amAre going to give Chaim a nickname like “Moe”?Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025 04:34 am I think it’s Moe but a select few think Chaim wouldn’t take a 5 year deal with one of them being a transition year.

And if they also are pompous, clueless, and worthless I don’t care, as long as they have no role in running the St. Louis Cardinals.
