There is only one "perk" to being a complete dog [shirt] team and that's the opportunity to draft someone who is very talented, but still unproven and not guaranteed to make an impact, much less be a star. If you knew even the slightest bit about hockey at the NHL level you would know there are countless guys drafted in the top 5 who amounted to exactly squat. Nothing is ever guaranteed, no matter how many times you say it is or how much you want it to be.
