Not using it as the final word, just a gauge, but Baseball Trade Values has Noot alone with about 2.5 times more trade value than Jones. Gorman alone has more trade value than Jones. Pallante alone has more trade value than Jones. If Jones continues to do well at AAA that may change.

Seriously? If Jones trade value is that low, how can he the Yanks #2 prospect? Top 100 last 2 years per some sites. A guy like that usually shows high trade value so I don't understand.

Anyway, offer the Yanks Fedde and a couple of wildcard minor leaguers.

May not have changed yet considering last year he had a .789 OPS as a 23 year old in AA with 200 strikeouts in 544 PAs. If a kid is getting 200 K’s in AA, they’re gonna have 300 in the MLB

The Yankees farm system is super bare. Spencer Jones is not a top 100 prospect in MLB. The Cardinals have 4 (Wetherholt, Mathews, Bernal, and Rodriguez) (Probably Doyle now too, for that matter) Jones wouldn't be a top 5 prospect in the Cardinals system. He has value, and it is probably increasing. Trade for him if you can- just don't overpay.
