You know very little about baseball and are ONLY here to defend BDWjr and Mo.

No one doubts your passion for the owner. All right, man. The organization under a MLB POBO is a massive organization that has reaches to all minor league cities as well as an off shore team. Plus all the responsibilities at the major league level, including scouting other teams. It’s a job you don’t just walk into and take over. It takes an in depth transition period to pass the torch to a new boss.
Laroque also retired and the whole minor league development system had to be revamped. That was Bloom’s first order of business. You can actually reason this stuff out for yourself.

And how is Girsch doing on those “special projects”?

Actually almost all of MO’s incompetent staff were let go or reassigned and I’m sure Bloom has been moving his people in since he arrived.
But I do agree that the minor league system had deteriorated and was such a cluster that Bloom probably had to put in some extra hours…….
You continually give an expansive job description of POBO and act like MO or Bloom had/have no reports beneath them who actually are the hands on managment. Cranny this “Mission Impossible” storyline you type about almost every subject concerning this team would make Tom Cruise proud. You should write a script for him. Never in the history MLB or Cardinals have they fired an in competent employees and then the replacement was required to Clean up the mess. You know Whitey came in 1980 and had a 1st place club the strike year of ‘81 wearing all the hats and making all the decisions.

The minor league system had to be revamped because Mo let it deteriorate. They had 1/3 of the instructors other teams had in their systems. They had no pitching lab like other teams. And the facilities in Jupiter needed renovated.Goldfan wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 21:52 pmDid he “retire”??Cranny wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 19:54 pmAmazing that you don’t get stuff, Goldfan. What the heck has Mo been doing the past decade? His rosters routinely have holes. He makes few trades. And typically only signs the easiest targets. So again, what does he do? Play with himself all winter?

Bloom has been consumed attempting to clean up this dysfunctional mess created by BDW/MO that he couldn’t possibly have any time yet to look at the ML club
BUT don’t blame BDW/MO for any of the mess that Bloom has been spending all his time cleaning up. Cranny Logic

Hahahaha. I bet Bloom has seen enough of the big club to know what needs to be done. He's probably seen enough of Mo too.Goldfan wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 22:12 pmIn summaryJuanAgosto wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 22:04 pmThe minor league system had to be revamped because Mo let it deteriorate.
