Good article this morning that Montreal really wants Kyrou. I like the concept of this trade. The Blues shopped Kyrou for a reason. They know he's a good player, so they want full market value. Kyrou has probably had his fill of St. Louis fans and Blues management. He's a sensitive kid and is really suffering from people that are down on him. I like the idea of getting Michael Hage plus something else.

I think he was simply referring to the core in general. Thomas, buch, kyrou, parayko, faulk, schenn. I genuinely dont understand why army making comments about the “core” needing a shake up is really just a shot at kyrou.

Kyrou was a gun-shy icedancer in the Winnipeg series.
There is zippo, nada, bupkiss evidence that he was hurt. Getting destroyed by a clean check and having every whiff of air blasted out of you is NOT an excuse for the kind of play that is... embarrassing in the playoffs. Lot of smoke and no fire if this is true.

From what I hear, the Blues hold David Reinbacher and Michael Hage in very high regard, but Kent Hughes wouldn't trade either of those two kids.

It seems the fans of Montreal want the Blues to give them Kyrou for Laine and spare bits. There has to be something worth the trade to make it real.

And just how would they have this knowledge? I can say that McDavid will test free agency and will only sign with the Blues. Doesn’t make it true
