He was offered to several teams. None of those teams wanted him. Maybe they lowballed DA knowing it was his last chance to dump him for half a decade. If the Peterka rumor is true, his value aint incredibly high these days.

Maybe they don't have a Dylan Holloway to show him the way.

While it doesn't meet your narrative from everything I've seen/read the Blues have been the team turning down the offers.

Chris Johnson went as far as to say its something Armstrong does often, gauges the interest in this players and isn't pulling the trigger unless he's getting exactly what he wants and doesn't believe the Blues were actually shopping Kyrou.

Very true. 43rd in the NHL in points, 23rd in NHL in +/-, and his contract is around 90th and slipping by the day. Kyrou is a bargain at this point moving forward.

Good article this morning that Montreal really wants Kyrou. I like the concept of this trade. The Blues shopped Kyrou for a reason. They know he's a good player, so they want full market value. Kyrou has probably had his fill of St. Louis fans and Blues management. He's a sensitive kid and is really suffering from people that are down on him. I like the idea of getting Michael Hage plus something else.

I wasn't aware there was an outcry from 'St. Louis fans' that are down on Kyrou but then I don't listen to local radio or read the PD, living out of state. I can't imagine anyone in the organization reads what's posted here.

Anyhow, I think Kyrou is worth a bit more than a probable late first and Michael Hage. The Canadiens should've offered Hage, Mailloux, and a 1st for Kyrou and left Bolduc out of the ask if they want him that much.

At this point short of Reinbacher there isn't anything other than Nick Suzuki I'd want from Montreal.

There isn't anything of equal value Montreal has to trade us other than those two.
