How the heck is Stillman "average" ????27-12-16 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2025 16:48 pm I do not think that many people from St. Louis or who lived through the "Where the hell is Saskatoon" scare and the team essentially being abandoned and missing an entire draft class in 1983 would call this ownership group average. Then the saviour Harry Ornest essentially trades Mike Liuts Mike Liut for Greg Millen and Mike Johnson while in first place for financial reasons, but Stillman is average. Ok![]()
There is no validity in complaining about Blues ownership.rizzardo wrote: ↑04 Jul 2025 19:35 pmHow the heck is Stillman "average" ????27-12-16 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2025 16:48 pm I do not think that many people from St. Louis or who lived through the "Where the hell is Saskatoon" scare and the team essentially being abandoned and missing an entire draft class in 1983 would call this ownership group average. The team won a Cup with him as owner, they spend to the Cap (unlike many teams).
They have a management core that "walks the walk"...and does exactly what they say they are going to do.
Not every deal or signing works out... for anyone!
But Stillman has always supported this team with $$$$ and vision. They pivot when something doesn't work out while maintaining a consistent direction and battle plan...something the Cardinals should learn.
He even paid for two coaches when Monty became available...
I just don't see validity in complaining about Blues ownership...
