If he wouldn’t do it in the offseason why would he do it now? With the team performing better than expected, last series withstanding, why would he jump ship now?

The true intent of your OP was just for you to say, yet again, Burly>Contreras. Which is still wrong. Just cut to the chase and tell us how much you love your hero.
"If he wouldn’t do it in the offseason why would he do it now?" Evidently, in your haste to bash me, you didn't read the article. Or, at least, failed to comprehend it. Let me help you figure this out. There seems to be some "bad blood" now between Contreras and the Cardinals.
I don’t read MSN clickbait trash. I read the one you posted that stated “Yankees rip Paul Goldschmidt over recent performance”….NOTHING in the article supported the headline. That’s not your fault, but did you not notice the same before you shared?
Well take it for what it's worth and stop your nitpicking.

Alright, just read it. Again, nothing in the content supported the headline. It also stated Contreras “throws teammates under the bus”. Seemed quite the opposite to me. Especially his first year when they scapegoated him. Clickbait trash. That’s what it’s worth. Do you write for them? No one else cites them for (bleep)(bloop). It’s like citing facebook as a source, like you’ve also done before.

Would make no sense to trade him.
And would create a massive hole.
Trading Walker and Nootbaar, on the other hand, would solve so many roster issues.....
ME-ville actually making a good point!
So you are saying my record remains perfect?
Correct.

WC and Nado are the 2 that consistently play with a fiery edge.

So they don't fit on this team. We want robots, not men.

Ps. Fansided articles are garbage click bait. As is this post.

That would turn a hole into a much larger hole. We’d have to get someone really good back.

Moving the 2 of them creates no holes - and would immediately make the team better.
The discussion is about the best way to create opportunities for some players while addressing needs.
Needs include more pitching for 2026 and beyond, as well as a quality RH outfield bat.
Burleson and Donovan are better players by far than Walker and Mootbaar - and should spend a lot of time as outfield corners.
Which in turn would open the DH role to the limited and fragile Herrera, while creating space for Wetherholt and Saggese on the infield.
Clearly, N/A needs to be traded as well so that Gorman can take 3B.
Zero question the CORRECT BASEBALL DECISION is to trade Mootbaar and Walker to address pitching and RH bat needs.

Are you throwing the question out there with the assumption one of us knows the answer?

Personally speaking, I haven't talked to Willson lately.,.....well, actually never!

I think he signed the waiver in between the 2nd and 3rd inning today.
