Today's game is only the 12th game in 11 consecutive days for the Cardinals. They did not play on June 18 at Chicago due to rain.

Holy [fork], their lone day off...how many did they play over the prior 15 days it's like you don't realize how many games vs days off they had in June! How many doubleheaders too

The RH/LH matchup is vastly overplayed by far too many MLB managers/GMs. If you're overall average is .167 is doesn't matter what side of the plate you hit from because you simply can't hit MLB pitching.

I'd much rather see Nathan Church get his first shot up here he's RAKING in Memphis.

Same thing when cards years ago repeatedly forced a second lH reliever on roster that was a nobody that stunk. Being LH didnt make them useful or better.
