Bruzstevich is a great pick for the Kings to have traded down and picked up an additional second to get.
Agreed. Smart move by the Kings. Wish the Blues had the assets to have gotten back in the late 1st to get him but also have no complaints as to why we didn’t have a 2nd or 3rd this year.
Two Holloways, staggered, and a Broberg now for the first three picks is good
I don’t really see the Holloway comp tbh. He doesn’t have Holloway’s hockey sense or speed and Holloway doesn’t have his scoring ability. I maybe more of a Boeser? Or maybe like an Adrian Kempe.
Saw in his interview with Strick that he hasn’t fully committed to his plans for next season yet as he wanted to make that decision together with whatever team drafted him (which is smart) so he’ll probably know more on that soon. My guess is the Blues would prefer he play in the NCAA over the Q but I guess we’ll see.

I think where it started was that they score so much more out of a little extra relentless hustle and skating, that's the comparison I see in their games, it's a point of excellence with both of them
What do you make of that many recent RW prospects and the fact that the first two look GOOD
and also what's your updated top 5 prospects off the cuff if you have thought about it? I think it's Dvorsky 1, Snuggy 2, Lindstein 3, Carbonneau 4, Stenberg 5? Carbonneau may be 3, that one is a close call. Snuggy looked too good in the postseason not to move up above Lindstein but Lindstein has done nothing but impress me as you well know.

YESSSSSSS
My guy!!
Remind us why you like him so much. Is he not very fast and is that a concern if true? Great goal scorer? His hands look legit and he is not a small guy.
Tell us that he will be fast enough and shifty enough to where skating won't be an issue. Holloway is such a good skater. You see Carb getting close to that?
ELITE stickhandling. He has this indefinable will to score that I will say Perron also had. (I hesitate to compare any player to my favorite NHL player ever), sorry I will talk about him more later I have to happy dance it out a bit
I enjoyed this comment last night. Hard to choose a fav, but Perron is definitely on the top list for me. Seems like we look for and enjoy the same things in players. I haven't seen nearly as much of Carbonneau as you (not even close), so I am refreshed to hear you speak of him as you do.

I wouldn’t count Bolduc as a RW prospect. He played RW for us this season because we severely lack natural RWs and are overloaded with left shooting wingers but he played LW pretty much exclusively in Jrs and Springfield. He looked fine on the right side but I wouldn’t be surprised if he eventually makes his way back to the left depending on how the lineup fluctuates over the years.
As for the prospect rankings, I’d still have Dvorsky, Snuggerud and Lindstein 1-2-3. Then probably Carbonneau but Stenberg is right in the same caliber for me. Very different players though. Then probably Jiricek and Fischer after that.
Love it! This guy is going to be a stud, I'm thrilled we got a talent like this at pick 19..
Sure, we need centers & RHD's, but choices in those were all "meh".
