Players don't just "decide" to win or lose over the last 25 games. There's not a switch in the locker room that they can flip. You have a room full of professional athletes who have worked their whole lives to be able to compete at the highest level on the planet. Walk in there and tell them to lose the last 25 games so that you can MAYBE draft a guy who pans out in a few years and see how that goes over.
