That's exciting?

The new Note looks much more like the original/classic one than the one they are changing from. So I’m not sure how you can say it’s going against “tradition”.

White outer border is too thick
I’d agree but that is not really official. It’s just what Icethetics put together based upon the speculation. What is presumably the new version was officially released during this years Winter Classic as a 2-color logo, and it leaked as a 3-color logo but was small and embroidered on a shirt. Hard to know how accurate the mock-ups are yet.

I hate it, I hate the powder blue as well. They really need to do something special for the 3rd for people who became fans in the Hull era or later because the 60's-70's does nothing for me. I'd hate to buy a Holloway jersey in the 90's Heritage, but I will before I get a powder blue one. My 50th Anniversary Steen is starting to look a little worn.

3rd jersey needs to be the early 90s unis. Those mid-90s ones are an abomination and always have been.

I think the same thing about the powder blue, that's why they have Home, Away, 3rds, Saturday Night, Throwback, and Reverse Retros. A little something for everyone. I'm not a huge fan of the 90's Heritage, but don't hate them either. My brothers all grew up with them so it really meant something to them when they came back. The only Blues jersey I liked with the powder blue was the 2017 WC Alumni Jersey. I still wish they'd bring back the 00's 3rd with the laces and Arch logo. It makes some throw up in their mouths, don't care, it's the best Blues sweater ever IMHO.

I was ready for those to go when they stopped wearing them, but I still think it was a great jersey.

I think a great look would be the current third (future primary I guess) but with navy instead of light blue.

I'd like to see a nod to the early 90's with the 3 layer name plates. My daughter still wears my '92 white.

The proposed bluenote looks worse. The thicker outlines aren't needed.

stlblue06 wrote: 20 Jun 2025 10:47 am I’m not seeing any confirmation that they are going to the 17 and 22 WC design in that video. The guy on the PC with the powder blue jersey has the WC logo and he also has Thomas with the C with his jersey design lol.
The retro colors are staying and the logo is changing according to Icethetics. Will it be the same jersey as the Saturday night jerseys...that we don't know yet. We will know soon enough. Even if they stick with the current home and away, the logo change would be enough for me but it sure sounds like we are getting more than that.
Right, after re-watching the video it sounds like they will be using the powder blue for the home but didn’t say what design the jersey would be. For the road’s they only said they will be using traditional white compared to the cream color of the 22 WC jersey. That part is confusing as they already use white for their roads. They certainly hinted at the WC design as they showed the 22 WC when they said that.

Like you said, we will know soon. Exciting as the new Note is an upgrade and I would love to see the home’s color theme change.
Speaking of the cream 22 WC jerseys, is there anywhere to get an official one anymore? I regret not getting one and now they aren't available from anywhere I can find...
I'm sure there are still some on eBay.
