Speaking of the cream 22 WC jerseys, is there anywhere to get an official one anymore? I regret not getting one and now they aren't available from anywhere I can find...stlblue06 wrote: ↑20 Jun 2025 11:09 amRight, after re-watching the video it sounds like they will be using the powder blue for the home but didn’t say what design the jersey would be. For the road’s they only said they will be using traditional white compared to the cream color of the 22 WC jersey. That part is confusing as they already use white for their roads. They certainly hinted at the WC design as they showed the 22 WC when they said that.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑20 Jun 2025 11:02 amThe retro colors are staying and the logo is changing according to Icethetics. Will it be the same jersey as the Saturday night jerseys...that we don't know yet. We will know soon enough. Even if they stick with the current home and away, the logo change would be enough for me but it sure sounds like we are getting more than that.
Like you said, we will know soon. Exciting as the new Note is an upgrade and I would love to see the home’s color theme change.

Yeah all of the rumors I’ve seen imply the main jersey will be basically what the Saturday Heritage jersey is now, just with white instead of cream and the slightly tweaked logo shape. The new road jersey would be a white interpretation of that (whether it’s the ‘22 WC look or the Alumni look or something without shoulders… not sure).stlblue06 wrote: ↑20 Jun 2025 11:09 amRight, after re-watching the video it sounds like they will be using the powder blue for the home but didn’t say what design the jersey would be. Personally I’d like them to keep the main blue more of a Royal like it is currently rather than the lighter throwback blue, but that’s a small difference I’m not losing sleep over.

Personally, I think they are in a good place. A lot of young and very talented players will be on the roster alongside a nice mix of veterans. And if the younger players took anything away from the playoff experience, it's that anything can happen once you get in. They know how hard those games are, and they know they have a "gamer" in net. The Blues can afford to spend close to the cap and leave some cash in reserve if they need to make a move around the deadline depending on where they are in the standings and if there is a real chance of going deep. Going deep in the playoffs = additional revenue. Critical for a small / medium market team even in the cap world.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑20 Jun 2025 11:25 amYep.
JR interviewed Stillman a few days ago and here’s his question and Stillman’s answer on the increasing Cap.
The bolded tells me they’re trying to find creative ways to increase revenue to try to keep up. They can’t drastically raise ticket prices and they’re not going to magically make a ton more on a tv deal so it’s going to have to be side stuff like jerseys and other apparel if they hope to remain profitable while spending more on player salaries.Speaking of the roster, the NHL salary cap is jumping to $95.5 million next season, $104 million in 2026-27 and $113.5 million in 2027-28. What is your take on the dramatic rise, and will Blues ownership continue spending to the cap?
First, on the rise of the cap, we certainly understand it because it was artificially held down under the CBA that was entered into during COVID. We knew that it was going to rise. At the same time, that’s not easy for a smaller middle-market team like us, so it does present challenges in developing the revenue we need to keep up and remain competitive.
Will we spend to the cap? We will spend to the cap if that’s what makes sense. We’re not going to spend to the cap just so we can say that we spent to the cap. We will be looking at the actual facts and circumstances: where we think we are as a team, who’s available, what’s best in the short term and long term, and just what makes sense.

The Blues have an iconic logo....the "new version" above is literally a ridiculous and pathetic change for the sake of it from the peanut gallery. Very forced by people who can't let good enough ( excellent)....alone.
And yes all of this is opinion but change is NOT some panacea to find the best. It's here now.

Re: The Blues just confirmed jersey/logo rebrand
Yeah, the Blues have used their current logo and have had the same general look since 1998. The post-lockout Reebok era gave it a vertical (gross) tweak until they ditched it went back to something very close to the ‘98 look. But that’s the same logo, same color scheme, same general branding, etc.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑20 Jun 2025 17:52 pmI’m pretty happy with the logo update. I feel like it’s been needed for a long time. 27 years is plenty long enough for a tasteful refresh.

So you take the note and then pretend you plugged it into an electrical outlet?
That's exciting?
All of the people here who claim to love tradition...the way the game was played and should be played.....were are you?

Re: The Blues just confirmed jersey/logo rebrand
The new Note looks much more like the original/classic one than the one they are changing from. So I’m not sure how you can say it’s going against “tradition”.
