The Dodger series gets a lot of pub due to last year WS . For 2025 though , the more important series are starting in another week .
The 4 game series @ Milwaukee vs . Brewers, then 3 white sox , followed by the Reds and Cubs . By the evening of June 26 , we will have a good picture of where we stand in the NL Central as we will have played 11 games vs . divisional opponents (Reds & Cubs at Busch ) .

I submit that both Barrero and Gorman would do more against a LHP than Vilade... bizarre especially that Barrero has apparently had the key thrown away on his dungeon.

I dont even see what Vilade did in the minors to be given this role.

True, but it still has important ramifications. We’ve lost 2 series in a row and need to rebound/right the ship. Dodgers have the 3rd best record in the NL and could be a playoff matchup should we make it and they make it. Plus these are always seen as tests to see how we match up against the best. And every game matters.

That's precisely the name that comes to mind when seeing Vilade in there. It depresses my baseball excitement about this team. Meanwhile, up-and-coming Saggesse who's 3 years younger than Vilade yet better numbers rots along with Gorman and Co.

I hear you. I put the Eastern time in my titles. And it took several edits to get the lineup pics right.
