I submit that both Barrero and Gorman would do more against a LHP than Vilade... bizarre especially that Barrero has apparently had the key thrown away on his dungeon.

Just a quick note, isn't it 8:15 EDT and 7:15 CDT?
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Dodgers (6/6) ~ 8:15pm CDT
thanks, just noticed, too....and it's corrected. PD doesn't give you much time to edit your titles.
phew.

sorry

Does Barrero ever play? Or even Gorman?
Scott, Donovan, Noot facing a ton of lefties lately
Oli trotting same lineup out night after night.

No doubt...it's like we brought up a young Willie Mays!Stryper wrote: ↑06 Jun 2025 15:26 pmThe second coming of Taylor Motter???RamFan08NY wrote: ↑06 Jun 2025 14:58 pmI dont even see what Vilade did in the minors to be given this role.![]()

I guess Vilade kinda got on base a lot in AAA
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Dodgers (6/6) ~ 8:15pm CDT
Let's not forget VS2 being in a massive slump and his overall .491 OPS vs LHP
.319 the last 14 days.
25th and 26th guys IMO don't get play over a player they wanted to find
out about. Especially when another such player is on the IL
providing more opportunities.

I am NOT on any Gorman bandwagon at all. I don't THINK he has much of a future but I KNOW that Valarde or whatever his name is has no future.
Lefty on the bump or not, not playing Gorman during this stretch seems like waiving the biggest of white flags on him. And it's not like tonight Dodger lefty is vintage Kershaw.

A Donnie, Barrero, Lars outfield with VS2 struggles
with Gorman at 2B makes more sense to me.

The Dodgers ARE on Arenado's trade list. Perhaps he leaves town with them.
