Which is interesting because Korac said it was his hip. Doesn’t matter at this point as long as he heels.

You're right, it doesn't matter, but today's article indicated lower body injury. Wouldn't an oblique injury be considered upper body?Frank Underwood wrote: ↑31 May 2025 17:30 pmWhich is interesting because Korac said it was his hip. Doesn’t matter at this point as long as he heels.

If he’s fully healed and doesn’t reinjure, he could have a real breakout season next year. His skating and closing on pucks/carriers was elite.
That’s the hope.

I get Broberg. The Blues overpaid for him. He’d be 3rd pairing at best for them right now.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑31 May 2025 18:03 pmDefinitely agree with that. I’m still surprised and thrilled Edmonton didn’t match his offer sheet.
Holloway didn’t make sense to me
Re: DeFranks Article on Holloway
We disagree on Broberg but not on Holloway. Dylan is a classic speedy winger with shooting and playmaking skills. Cournoyer comes to mind, maybe LaFleur style-wise though I'm not saying he's a superstar. The big thing is he seems to have absorbed a lot watching McDavid, he is relentless pushing the puck forward and he backchecks like a maniac.theograce wrote: ↑31 May 2025 18:49 pmI get Broberg. I do not mind Broberg. He just hasn’t grown into his body and is a bit awkward physically and defensivelyDawgDad wrote: ↑31 May 2025 19:47 pmWe disagree on Broberg but not on Holloway. The best payment for Holloway IMO is to make sure that the Blues give him a Center that maximizes his talent and career.
Same with Snuggerud and all of our young guys.

I've sent a note to Holloway's agent.
An "In Time" Addendum...
"Army shall provide a 2C by January 1, 2027. This side project shall be named, "the re-2C", and it's not over until the fans say it's over."

Sounds like another Ryan O'Reilly on the work ethic front.b-a-a-a-rclay wrote: ↑31 May 2025 09:41 am During the first part of camp he stayed after and worked with Schenn a lot. As it got closer to the season he seemed to spend more time after practice working on stuff with Neighbours. The constant was that Holloway was seemingly always one of the very last guys to leave the ice. He's going to be a leader by example. Full recovery is all I want for him. When that happens, he's the player I can't wait to see.

Who would throw an Angel Winger out there without a Holy Center? Maybe Satan?Aesa wrote: ↑31 May 2025 20:40 pmIn my best SNL Church Lady voice..."Well, isn't that special?"a smell of green grass wrote: ↑31 May 2025 20:22 pmDawgDad wrote: ↑31 May 2025 20:00 pmIn time.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑31 May 2025 19:55 pm The best payment for Holloway IMO is to make sure that the Blues give him a Center that maximizes his talent and career.
