Re: Attendance
Most fun Cards team to watch in years. Keep up the exciting style of play, and avoid injuries, and the attendance will be there (or STL isn't one of the best baseball cities in America, like it thinks it is).
Re: Attendance
I actually saw a game at Busch this year for the first time since the 2013 World Series. Thanks Kolton.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑29 May 2025 11:46 am90 percent of the fan base lives far from STL. Me- 800 miles. What are we supposed to do to show fan support in your estimation.
I normally see 1-2 games per year in other stadiums, it gives my wife and I chance to travel. I live in Dallas and will be at Sundays game.
Re: Attendance
With all due respect to both sides.......go to the games if you want and stay home if you want. I don't really like posters telling me not to support the team and blasting me for it. BUT......I won't try to tell them to support the team if they don't want to. It's a free country.

Re: Attendance
I still catch STL if they are n Houston. Dallas is too far although just 300 miles. Too much driving alone.1_12_1968 wrote: ↑29 May 2025 11:55 amI actually saw a game at Busch this year for the first time since the 2013 World Series. Move to downtown St. Louis, go to all the games, party at ballpark village, have tons of fun rooting for the club with other like minded people in baseball heaven and be loyal to what provides it. Some of us who have are living the best way any baseball fan can.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑29 May 2025 11:46 am90 percent of the fan base lives far from STL. Me- 800 miles. The least you can probably do is not bash on the club
Re: Attendance
Exactly. I don’t go anymore, but why would I begrudge those who do?casey1024 wrote: ↑29 May 2025 11:57 am With all due respect to both sides.......go to the games if you want and stay home if you want. Re: Attendance
Senior DeWitt has misspent any and all of the Goodwill that Cardinal Nation formerly bestowed upon him.
His fairly strewn from the tree apple of a son has garnered Zero Goodwill. In fact he has garnered the exact opposite. Scorn, ridicule, and intense dislike and distrust from Cardinal Nation.
Money Talks / [nonsense] Walks.
We All Love Our Cardinals yet we have no appreciation for Leadership's lies, [nonsense], and bait switching.
Time for Ownership to start walking. As many of us are firmly determined to never put another shekel into The lesser's coffers.

Re: Attendance
Don't try to frame that as some kind of a cult thing. That's ridiculous! The Cardinals support the community and their fans just as much (if not more) than they get in return. Busch Stadium and the surrounding facilities is my favorite place on earth and I have been to just about all the places worth going to. Nothing wrong with tipping the cap to the people who built it and run it. THEY DO IT FOR US! The least we can do is appreciate it, support it and be loyal to the folks that provide it.desertrat23 wrote: ↑29 May 2025 12:31 pm“Loyal to what provides it?”Ike Hammett wrote: ↑29 May 2025 12:12 pmMove to downtown St. Louis, go to all the games, party at ballpark village, have tons of fun rooting for the club with other like minded people in baseball heaven and be loyal to what provides it. It's one of the big problems with society, you spoiled rotten entitled brats are never happy and too cool to acknowledge anything, even when it is what you want and ask for. Don't do that, say thanks and have fun, try to get along and support the community. You're completely illogical.

You should not leave your lemonade stand unattended. That would be completely illogical, Trike.Ike Hammett wrote: ↑29 May 2025 13:03 pmDon't try to frame that as some kind of a cult thing. Come on, even you weak sauce Lil Trolls who try to be cute in spreading nonsense can do better. Normally I wouldn't respond to such bad trolling but yours is so bad it needs an "observation"! At least be funny or make one decent point. Aren't you worried the other haters will just point and laugh at you for lowering the bar in Haterville?peterman'srealitytour wrote: ↑29 May 2025 13:20 pmYou should not leave your lemonade stand unattended. Uh, No, they do it for a profit. They do not care about you, they care about what's in your walletIke Hammett wrote: ↑29 May 2025 13:03 pmDon't try to frame that as some kind of a cult thing. Re: Attendance
Never mind, then. It’s the local people in St. Louis I don’t get who are so filled with hate they refuse to support a hard working winning team.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑29 May 2025 13:51 pmNope.
