I'd like to see what both Gorman & Walker can do next year when they'll have a full season under the new regime.

Walker (IMO) isn't going anywhere, Gorman could be but I'd bet Bloom wants to give him 2026 before making that call.

PA's will be tough for him though w/I. Hererra establishing himself as a force at DH ( he's NOT a catcher Oli  ), Donovan playing a lot 2nd base and JJ on the way (2nd or 3rd?).

He could still be a solid trade chip this offseason and if the return is what the Cardinals need, then perhaps he goes midseason if J.J.'s ready?

Ha! Exactly.
He did a great job punishing a bad pitch. But, he hasn't shown he can do that with any consistency.
If you want to help Gorman, demote him to AAA, let him play some 3B, get more PAs so he can improve.

All he needs is playing time.
Burly would have to be traded for that to happen.
N/A needs to be traded again.
