Having a stronger arm than Nado at 3rd only helps if you field the same hot shots that Nado does . If the guy knocks down the ball and has to pick it up and throw , it may still be too late OR if it skips into LF your stronger arm is of no advantage either.
What did Rock claim...what did I respond to...Matt Chapman has the strongest arm at 3b.
Scouty's correct
I was going purely off what I've seen from NADO in the past/memory (Winn I didn't have to look up to know he's got one of the top arms at SS) and didn't look it up.
After doing so it seems NADO has lost 4 MPH off his throw from 2020 when he ranked #2.
BUT combined NADO/Winn are very close to having the best combined arms from the left side.
Nope...San Fran then the Rox
DelaCriz has strongest arm at SS. Oneil Cruz in all of the league but he plays OF now
Just turned it on, I've seen Nado drop a throw from Scott, now a throw from Pogo, and they said he missed a ground ball double that went right through him all this f'n inning?!?!?!?

Walker up there too w/the OF'ers!
I was surprised NADO lost 4 mph off his throws, must be from those injuries he's had off & on the past few years.

I did slow mo replay twice on the dropped throw from Scott. It was the classic 'took his eye off the ball just prior to the glove'
You can freeze frame to see the ball at the webbing with Nado's head starting to turn looking at the sliding runner. Gotta look the ball into the glove . Same things happen to NFL WR's when they drop them sometimes. Take a look to run before the ball all the way into your grasp.
That was excellent throw by Scott. He had the runner nailed if Nado catches it . No run scores of course.
