Lineup
1. Lars Nootbaar (L) ~ RF
2. Masyn Winn (R) ~ SS
3. Brendan Donovan (L) ~ 2B
4. Nolan Arenado (R) ~ 3B
5. Willson Contreras (R) ~ 1B
6. Ivan Herrera (R) ~ DH
7. Alec Burleson (L) ~ LF
8. Yohel Pozo (R) ~ C
9. Victor Scott II (L) ~ CF
LHP Matthew Liberatore (3-3, 3.11 ERA)
And you sit. This is a product of timing- Oli had this lineup in mind several days ago, but suddenly one of the pieces got hot. He failed to adjust his plan.
I'm not sure a manager that has what.. 12 wins out of the last 13?.. is the problem

The Royals' bats are far worse than their record. Time to sweep these lightweights.
27th in runs. 30th in HRs. 26th in OBP. 26th in OPS.
I really like watching Liberatore attack the zone this year with good stuff. Hope it continues today.

You know this. You played. You have a big game, you come to the park with a different attitude. Maybe he is ready to click. I try to build on that. The kid needs anything right now. For Walker, yes, he’s hot- ha. That’s how low he has been.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑18 May 2025 12:31 pmHot hand? LMAO. what he mostly needs is to be put in the best situations to succeed and gain confidence. Re: GDT : Cards @ Royals (5/18) ~ 1:10pm CDT
I was thinking the same thing earlier when I saw Walker wasn't starting . Watch there is a situation in the top of the 8th with multiple runners on base and Oli pinch hits Walker for Burly ...gets RBI's and then in bottom of 8th he goes to RF as Noot scoots over the LF replacing Burly defensively.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑18 May 2025 13:02 pmI bet he pinch hits and stays in to finish the game.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑18 May 2025 13:01 pmwhat he mostly needs is to be put in the best situations to succeed and gain confidence. Michael Wacha has been spectacular in his last four starts.
let's see what our lineup can do.

NA hitting 4th is not "full throttle." It's Marmol scratching his pathological OCD itch to see "L/R/L/R" on the lineup card.
Re: GDT : Cards @ Royals (5/18) ~ 1:10pm CDT
Wacha loses his no-hitter on the first batter.
