Helsey struggles if he pitches two innings or 3 days in a row or after a two or more day layoff. His sweet spot is one inning two days in a row then off 1 game then back for two 1 inning saves. Not exactly Mariano Rivera but then who is?

4-2 in our last 6 road games, hopefully it continues to improve.

We’ve won 4 of our last 5 series with the other being a split.

Helsley pitched the 9th with 2 run lead..doesn’t allow a single run and some are all over his butt.

Not with the DH. As soon as they lift him they lose the DH spot.
Yes you can. You just can't involve the DH in a double switch, but you can Pinch run for them:
Can a DH be replaced during a game?
A team that chooses not to select a DH prior to a game is barred from using a DH for the rest of that game. A player who enters the game in place of the DH -- either as a pinch-hitter or a pinch-runner -- becomes the DH in his team's lineup thereafter.

Even with this recent hot streak Burly still has only a .662 OPS, or in other words a lower OPS than Herrera’s SLG%.

Pallante has the 4th worst K/BB ratio in the league.

Burleson is still a 1-tool player at best, and arguably just a half-tool.

Burleson certainly hasn't performed at a high level. But I'm guessing the Cardinals' brain trust are more concerned about Gorman and Walker.
