AOF you should just move on and save your energy for real discussion. You can't debate or converse with a narcissist.
You were right about Libby all a long. You don't need one narcissistic poster to validate you.
Yeah, I know better. I do.
It is kind of funny that he mistakes someone not engaging with his act as someone lacking conviction or being "silent". Oh well.
Appreciate the suggestion!
Now he admits to being silent.
You see, banner 29? ^^^
You are a special kind of stupid. I've never been silent on Liberatore.
Guessing you're very underemployed right now. This is you at your bitchiest. Why are you making that choice?

Sure you were silent when the team signed three pitchers and bumped ML.
I think when your opinions start to look wrong, you go silent. A common thing ppl do.

Your dishonesty knows no bounds. I understand your reluctance and embarrassment to owning up to it.

Everyone sees it. Just stop with the tired act.
Oh yeah, you totally spoke up in May 2023 and around May 2024 about Libby's role changing by the day. And even his 2024 starter 'tryout' was a joke because he wasn't even stretched out at the time to be a starter. I totally give you that.
he has been refreshing -- why teams are very hesitant to give up on 25 yr old lefties who can throw in the mid 90's. i believe we all were hopeful he would get here and certainly there has been doubt --- but man enjoy what he is right now, it can be fleeting.

So you admit, then, that I have not actually been silent about Liberatore, and was, in fact, very and consistently vocal about him.
And that the whole accusing me of "being silent" was a completely dishonest ruse.

randy A has been a solid player but when the cards made the trade they thought they had a stocked OF and they needed young left handed pitching...as of today a still young 25 yr old lefty with great stuff pitchng great as a starter is far more valuable than randy A...I for one cross my fingers that Libby becomes a real TOTR starter for the next several years
After 2019:
Ozuna walked
Bader and ONeill had disappointing seasons.
Fowler was okay.
So how was it ‘stocked?’
I said they THOUGHT it was stocked...thought...geez..the other day you attacked me for suggesting contreras has been a streaky hitter....relax

LOL, I'm not attacking you. Relax.
Yes, it is well known their talent evaluation was very suspect. And no, they didn't need a lefty starter in 6 years (2025). Mo felt he needed to remove outfielders from the roster. Landing libby was a distant second to thinning out the OF.
Randy Aroz is doing VERY well this year! He has a 131 ops+ and 8 stolen bases!
He would easily make this starting 9.
yes he would -- and the trade is still one sided for the rays but we can now see a path where it may get to a very even swap?
Randy A. besides getting arrested in Mexico for parental kidnapping is never going to be driving in 70 runs or scoring 70. Regardless of his OPS while hitting .218. Or 13 WAR. Those OFers are a dime a dozen whereas a good LHP is hard to come by.

Maybe in a vacuum, but where is he easily making the starting 9?
Over Noot? Scott? Walker, okay, I know it's not working out great now, but he's a #1 prospect. Any team is going clear out a spot for a player like him.
DH? I'd take Herrera over him.
I don't see where he fits with this team, unless you commit to giving up on Walker, and I'm not ready to do that. Either way, it's not an easy call.

Herrera has 21 abs this season, wtf. SSS much? Walker is awful at the plate.

Like I said, in a vacuum I guess you could make an argument for taking RA over those two, but Herrera is a 24 year old stud prospect who hit at every level (and is also tied with RA in fWAR right now, despite the SSS) and Walker, as bad as he has been, is still a 22 year old with loads of potential.
Yes, I like Randy Arozarena, but he's 30, terrible defensively, and we've seen his peak. I'd rather have the other two.
