Averaged about 0.5 hits per game. 1.3 blocked shots per game … and got knocked on on his (donkey) all over.

Super soft series
He didn’t shy away from contact to make a pass. He came into scrums
Came into scrums lol…come on. Post it…what game…I wanna go back and watch
it was game 3 or 4 and one of the jets took an extra poke or ran into Binner. Whoever it was Broberg tossed them to the ice.

You think Broberg is soft yet you want to trade him and the Blues leading scorer for Owen Power...doh.

Guy had 26 hits all year...
https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/owen-power-checks
In hockey the leading scorer is points. I don’t think Broberg is soft. He is soft right now. There is no denying it. And yes, I’d rather have the big man over Broberg.
Just to clarify - when you say the big man, you mean the big man that had 26 hits all year? And you want to trade the Blues lead goal scorer and Broberg for him?
Yeah. That one. He’s a big man
Big man who hits at 50% of the rate that Broberg does, but you implied Broberg was soft because he doesn't hit enough. Perfectly logical...
Yeah that guy. I’ll take the much bigger non physical of the 2 with more upside. Crazy hey
Alight just to confirm one last thing. You dogged Broberg because he played too soft, but again your solution is to trade Broberg, and the guy that scored the most goals on the Blues for someone who plays even softer than Broberg does? Chess not checkers. Your parents must be so proud...
A 6’6 1st overall who covers a ton of ice. 40 points as a 22 year old … yeah that guy.

And Broberg is soft until he isn’t. He got manhandled all year.

If Broberg is soft, Power is Charmin Soft. You got manhandled saying you would trade Broberg and Kyrou for Power. A monkey would make a better GM.

Would they? How do you know? A former 1st overall. 6’6 230 22 years old. What’s his ceiling?

I thought Kyrou has no heart and sucks. Not a big game guy. Is this a secret just known here guys?

His ceiling today is generally considered much lower today than it was on the day he was drafted 1st overall. He was also sort of a, I guess this guy’s the best of the bunch sort of 1st overall pick more than a slam dunk one.

Dahlin? Sure. Power? He’s just not at that level.

Don’t get your obsession with Broberg. He was a fantastic steal to be our 2LD. This was his first full year in the league. Don’t see the issue with him.

Power isn’t projected to be a makar. I’m hoping more of a Parayko plus. Hedman faced the same criticisms for many years (not saying he’s hedman either).

I don’t have an obsession with Broberg. Hope he develops into a very solid top 4. But I agree with the Oilers assessment of him at the current time. He’s got lots of work to do.

Blues management would likely hang up the phone on that trade request. There would have to be more thrown in on Buffalo's part in my opinion. Why does Buffalo need more scoring when they were 10th overall this past year? Why would the Sabres even consider trading Power-they need defense and you consider him better than Broberg. So far on paper they look pretty similar and they are about the same age. Broberg being 1 year older.

But I thought Kyrou isn’t a winner snd sucks? What would you assess Power’s value to be from the Blues?

I've no idea that's what DA and his scouts are paid to do. I just don't see much of a gap between the two as defenders. As far as Kyrou goes I'm not a hater and he is slowly becoming a better player in key situations. Hopefully some of the young guys coming up will bring more of what they need scoring wise in playoff situations or trade for someone that is that guy. As we know this team is still being molded into a true playoff team that can contend.

While I'm not in the get rid of people crowd I'd certainly be interested in swapping Kyrou for young top young d.

While I think we need another center that position doesn't scare me like the age of our d going forward.

I watched presser again. Anything can happen.
I feel like we sign a center who plays defense and can hit--and we move on. No other signings. Next year Lindstein replaces Leddy. Prospects fill in gaps going forward. Dont think we will see any big trades. I could be wrong.
