The only 4 players without an assist this series were Tucker, Joseph, Binner, and KYROU. That is just flat out unacceptable. I don't understand the hard on for some of you have for a guy as soft as him.

3 goals in 7 games is pacing for 30 in 70, so around 35 for a full season. Who’s to say more helpers wouldn’t have come next round? You’re hanging your hat on a very small sample sizebud white wrote: ↑06 May 2025 10:17 amIn this years playoffs, Kyrou - in 7 games - had 3 points. THE OBJECTIVE OF HOCKEY IS TO PUT THE PUCK IN THE NET
KYROU PUTS THE PUCK IN THE NET BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE ON THIS TEAM
Without Kyrou this entire discussion is moot because the Blues don't get anywhere near the playoffs anyway. No player is untradeable, but I have yet to year a proposed trade involving Kyrou that would make me even the slightest bit interested.
Fowler, Thomas, Buchnevich, Neighbors, Parayko, Faksa, Snuggerud, Torpochencko and Walker. Out of that group, only Neighbors was a minus player at -2.

The only two players to play more than three games and not get an assist were Kyrou and Binnington.
Re: Hopefully that was Kyrou’s last game as a Blue
Is it? If Parayko shoots and scores instead of passing back to Kyrou he gets an assist. The puck still went in didn’t it?ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 10:56 am The only 4 players without an assist this series were Tucker, Joseph, Binner, and KYROU. That is just flat out unacceptable. That's the argument that thenetboy65 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 09:05 amOk sparky. Whatever you sayLloyd Braun wrote: ↑06 May 2025 09:00 amYou've officially lost all Kyrou debates in perpetuity, with this absurdly stupid comment defending 2 measly assists in 28 playoff games.
F'ing Garth Butcher has a higher assist rate in the playoffs. That's not an exaggeration, but a sobering fact.
If he were passing and getting assists you all would be yelling why doesn’t he shoot more??

uses against Buchnevich, who is a ppg player in the playoffs as a Blue....
Goals NEED assists- 95% of the time, or do you know something different?

Let's be honest - the first two goals were gifts.netboy65 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 11:04 amIs it? If Parayko shoots and scores instead of passing back to Kyrou he gets an assist. Binnington had a couple of 3rd assists. I know he was 3rd assist on the Schenn wrister in Game 6.Lloyd Braun wrote: ↑06 May 2025 11:01 am The only two players to play more than three games and not get an assist were Kyrou and Binnington.

So I’m curious all you grinder fetish people out there, what would Kyrou fetch in a trade. And please don’t say Brady because Ottawa won’t trade him. While you’re at it, tell me how you’ll replace his 35 goals for a team that’s middle of the league in scoring.theograce wrote: ↑06 May 2025 11:35 amHe’s Craig Janney out there lol.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 11:30 amThat's the argument that thenetboy65 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 09:05 amOk sparky. The replacing 35 goals thing doesn’t hold water. People said that about Tarasenko too. A lot of younger guys will have increasing roles.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 11:57 amSo I’m curious all you grinder fetish people out there, what would Kyrou fetch in a trade. Value of Kyrou? I’m not sure. I’d offer Kyrou+Broberg for Power. I’d do that deal today.

Broberg is soooo soft. Do you dislike him? Value him?ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 10:56 am The only 4 players without an assist this series were Tucker, Joseph, Binner, and KYROU. That is just flat out unacceptable. I don't understand the hard on for some of you have for a guy as soft as him.
Re: Hopefully that was Kyrou’s last game as a Blue
Sure they do. A point is a point, the puck went in. Kyrou is paid to finish not set up. Maybe he could have got 1 or 2 but didn’t in a 7 game sample size. Not indicative of his overall game. He led the team in shots game 7, that’s right where I want him.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 11:30 amThat's the argument that thenetboy65 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 09:05 amOk sparky. The pass came from Buchnevich. Kyrou had nothing to do with the play to Parayko.
Re: Hopefully that was Kyrou’s last game as a Blue
Playing with Schenn as his C. Not the best option.netboy65 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 12:15 pmSure they do. A point is a point, the puck went in. Kyrou is paid to finish not set up. Young guys or no you have to replace the 35 goals now. No guarantee they replace the scoring could take years. You’re giving up too much for Power he’s a bust at this point in his career.theograce wrote: ↑06 May 2025 12:06 pmThe replacing 35 goals thing doesn’t hold water.
