Islander and Utah fans now have can't-miss fun and excitement for 10 years. Jerseys are flying off the shelves. Kids are talking about it in school.

Meanwhile in St Louis, 10-year old kids are just happy that the franchise is not moving to Saskatoon because the owners made the playoff bounty.
Team was a garbage .500 club that managed to win 12 straight, then turned back into a .500 club. Sad part is people are just happy to be there, when in fact the Blues were the better team against the Jets and should have won, but certain players on this club are holding them back, but this will be ignored because Bluesfan is just happy they got to the playoffs.

Exactly...
Most Blues fans are not looking at how the roster is shaping up and how the money is being spent. They don't notice that the team is loading gold bars onto one titanic after another. Kyrou is the little Titanic that can't. Buchnevich is the Russian Titanic.

Armstrong tells them that "we made the playoffs after not making the playoffs and therefore all is good", and many Blues fans don't look any closer.

Can’t miss you say?
Alexandre Daigle and Nail Yakupov say hello (Erik Johnson was busy)
The only selections that are MORE likely to miss are those after pick 10. Those guys have a 95% chance of only a short career in the AHL. Despite this fact, please note that BluesTalk is all aglow about the 10 Blues prospects of that sort. Do you want to tell the poor b____, or do you want me to do it?
Patrik Stefan and Ilya Kovalchuk have joined the chat.

So your plan revolves around hoping and praying we win a 3.5% or 1.5% lottery? In fact, the Blues already did exactly this. Two years ago, they entered the lottery in the 10th spot, same as the Isles here today…except the 96.5% of them not winning happened.
I get that. I know that there are no guarantees. Plus, I'm fully aware that the NHL backroom cigar smoke never seems to drift to St Louis.

Why do I b_____? I want St Louis kids (like myself) to be treated to the same NHL draft excitement as other cities. I hate that every year, the top 20 names go elsewhere.
The top 20 names go elsewhere every year? Just two years ago a top 10 name came to the Blues. Last year, top 16. This year, top 19.
Not to mention snagging two very high recent first round picks from Edmonton.

Given all of the complaining and threads about replacing numerous players with better players, I’m not seeing this kumbaya, all is good sentiment but if you guys want to believe that’s how everyone else feels then go for it. But it’s not reality.

The Hawks have more than enough to move up if they want to....but I wouldn't mind seeing 6'3" Porter Martone in the opposing crease for the next decade and he should be there at #3.

the goblin gooper would rather place his bets on 3.5% chance so he can get some jersey sales. According to his desires, he's ok with gambling on getting the top pick 1 out of every 28 years. If we applied that to getting to the playoffs, well you know where that goes.

Blues have Holloway, Broberg, Snuggy, Bolduc, Neighbours, Hofer, Dvorsky, Stenberg, Lindstein, Dean, Pekarcik, Stancl, Peterson, Burns, Jiricek (exception), Ellis all showing promise to be NHLers. The coffers are the opposite of empty. If the Blues even hit on half of that list after Hofer, we will be riding high.

Goblin goo is just a small little troll.
