Game 7 was the worst, most crushing loss in hockey history

That loss kept me up the other night, and then when I woke up at 3am, it kept me up again. I couldn’t believe it was real. But…..36 hours later, I’m already over it. The future looks great and I’m excited for the next 5+ years. Hoping we add a couple of key pieces this summer and I’m ready for October.

It was ugly……but not even close to the worst or most crushing loss in hockey history.

The game was over. We had a 3-1 lead with under 2 minutes left.
We had a 3-2 lead with 2 seconds left.
This was the most unlikeliest comeback in hockey history.
I don't give a rats (bleep) where the teams were seeded for the playoffs.

Winnipeg scored once at even strength. It was a deflection.

All 4 Jets goals were off of deflections. 3 with screens.

Jets were more desperate, and the repeated icings the Blues had to take left guys on the ice for extended times. They were gassed. Frankly, given how they carried play, the ONLY reason that game went to OT in the first place was Binnington.

Lol same. I woke up in the middle of the night and it like all hit me again. I guess for a bit there we forgot we cheer for the Blues and they have a history of crushing playoff defeats.

We will never know our comeuppance this season, but the Blues were close in 3 of 4 Winnipeg home games. The Jets were blasted out at the Loo in all 3. So if the Blues had home ice the Blues probably advance.

I can't imagine a goalie has ever won the Conn Smythe while being pulled in 3 straight road starts. No way.

It was awful. Sick about it. I dont get it. I was playing indoor soccer. Couldnt believe it. Everyone at Vetta was crushed. I aint mad at the team--but how do you f that up.

Analytics has the word with its 1st 4 letters. IDC, we over exceeded expectations this season , now learn and use it next season.

99% would mean, in a vacuum, if you played that scenario 100 times, the Blues would win 99 of them. 99.5% would mean if you played that scenario 200 times, the Blues would win 199 times. Given the circumstances, I think those odds are pretty spot on but this just happened to be a time it happened. While the Blues failure to address the issue that plagued them all season should not go unnoticed, you've got to also credit the Jets. They had to make that play happen and it took three perfect cross ice VERY hard passes being received and tipped perfectly in to happen.
