Why does that bother you? What impact does it have on your life?
Don’t you enjoy games more when the stadium is full and the fans are pumped, compared to an empty energy less stadium?
Plus does it gear the Cards FO to spend more, or give them justification/reasoning to keep payroll low?

Payroll ‘low’ ? If you consider ‘low’ 19th ok
18 teams spend more with 11 teams spending less.
Cards are three spots behind the median payroll.

Arenado only had a 1.2% chance of sitting on someone in the stands if he went into the netting.

Incredible odds.

Nice series win against the NL East leading Mets, and a good start to the series against the Pirates. The team is putting out good effort, even when there are less fans there to cheer them on. Too bad, because it's not the players' fault.

It's just sad, i watched the box series of the 2011 world series recently and Busch stadium was like a different planet compared to what it is now. I certainly understand its a world series. But looking at the stadium now you'd never have guessed there used to be that kind of electricity surrounding that field

Same here...I was in Section 148...a lot of regulars we used to see have cut back on attending...but remember that DeTwit is a brilliant businessman and Mo-ran has a beautiful family .

Why do you think Fans aren’t showing up to Busch?

Rock, any estimate about the "total in the house"? Watching from home, I figured 10,000....maybe.

We're just keeping the powder dry. Seriously, they seem to be playing a tad better than I thought they would, if they keep it up, they will win a few fans back in the stadium. I think with the soaring costs, the average fan looks at a trip to the ballpark as sort of investment. And mediocrity just isn't worth it at the moment. Too many other worries in this economy. Hardcore fans are still supporting the team.

I'm usually pretty bad at guestimating tgh but I'd say no more than 15-16,000, maybe as low as 12-14,000 range.

Reminds me of the mid-late 70's when I was a kid.

Because there were no shiny new toys secured over the off season. Or changes made in the front or with the manager. But again, the existing players are really playing well at home and it's too bad more fans aren't there to cheer them on. It's not their fault.

Too bad the fans have had to watch several years of sub-par players, on field management, and front office intelligence

Actually, some players have done fine. Didn't the Cards have a winning season in 2024?

Name one "star" player on this team that people would pay to go see play.
