That’s on you Moe. I haven’t seen Busch this empty for decades.

Take a good look, big moe-ron. But I'm sure we all just aren't smart enough to understand your baseball genius.

Yes, yes it is.

Super Slo Mo destroys a brand - with an assist from DeWitt.
The Cardinals are the Bud Light of MLB right now.

I thought the game was in Pittsburgh till I saw the white uniforms.
22,369 tickets sold. Looks like maybe 3-5,000 showed up.

I would go to games but the ticket prices went crazy the last few years. Used to be able to get tickets for a few bucks each off StubHub, but now they're rarely very cheap and the fees are crazy. I was going to buy some tickets a couple weeks ago for $17 each in a section I liked, but when I went to check out they wanted $14 per ticket in fees, it was crazy.

Agreed. Not that it's a lot of money, but it's the principle for a [shirt] product. I'd be more excited about the bacon wrapped hot dog and nachos n cheese with jalapenos.ggnoobs wrote: ↑06 May 2025 00:17 am I would go to games but the ticket prices went crazy the last few years. It's similar to the 70's....boring team and no stars and a thread, so far, without hearing from the pom pom boys telling us that DeTwit is a brilliant businessman and Mo-ran has a beautiful family.

Why does that bother you? What impact does it have on your life?Rojo Johnson wrote: ↑05 May 2025 18:53 pm That’s on you Moe. I haven’t seen Busch this empty for decades.
Re: Wow, the number of empty seats are incredible
Thought I would look at actual rankings of attendance .
Source:
https://www.baseball-reference.com/leag ... misc.shtml
Scroll down to year-over- year attendance
In 2024, the Cardinals averaged 36,911 per game in the first 18 home games .. 2025 29,236 per game
a loss of -7,675 per game.
Compared to the other teams, the Cardinals rank 30th LAST in decrease per game attendance.
The Cardinals rank 13th in 2025 attendance per game thus far so someone could spin the attendance by saying 'Well , that isn't too bad .. 17 other teams (more than half) draw less per game than the Cardinals '
That would be PR spin though as if you are DeWitt ownership you have seen the biggest loss per game (that 7,675 per game ) hit your bottom line.
That is the alarming stat for DeWitt's .. not the fact that the franchise is 13th of the 30 teams.

Don’t you enjoy games more when the stadium is full and the fans are pumped, compared to an empty energy less stadium?scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑06 May 2025 06:39 amWhy does that bother you?
