Looks like rain today in Natti. Let's hope we get this one in while the bats are hot!

You confuse me. It was said Monday night they couldn’t hit. Now one day later we are on fire.

Not sure what's so confusing. Baseball is a marathon. Bats got hot yesterday. I'm hoping they stay hot. But it's certainly not guaranteed.

Speaking for myself, offensively I'd like to see more consistency. Cards have made a habit this season of scoring a bunch of runs in 2 or 3 straight games and then having trouble scratching out a run or two for 2 or 3 games. Part of the reason they are under .500 I suppose.

But yeah...bats were hot yesterday, surprised you didn't notice. Sorry you were confused.

If weather.com is accurate, should only be a short delay around the 3rd or 4th inning, if there's a delay at all.

Ha I asked for it. Sorry if I sounded snarky. Just got up.

No the GDT Monday painted gloom and doom. Then we smoke them.

Here’s my thought. We got a staff that gives you 6 plus generally. An offense that can score 3-4 daily. A defense second to none most days.

What’s the issue in that scenerio. 7-8 innings. We solve that six out stretch, we will have a nice season.

Again sorry for the snark.

Interesting that the Cards scored 14 of their 15 runs yesterday in a 4 inning window. 5 runs in the last inning of game one vs 1 pitcher. 9 runs in the first 3 innings vs 1 pitcher. They scored only 1 run in the first 8 innings of game one and had only one hit in game 2 the last 6 innings.

Interesting. Lot of dead innings consecutively.

Spot on.
