Then again, a lot of the other series are similar too so maybe it’s a league-wide strategy. But who knows, maybe it’s actually helping the Blues. They looked a little gassed in Games 1 and 2, perhaps a little tired from all the pressure at the end to just make the playoffs that perhaps the extra rest has helped a bit. And both Thomas and Parayko didn’t look 100% to start the series either but now look like their usual selves.

It’s also probably helped the product a bit too. I doubt this series would be breaking records for most hits if the cadence was more every other day.
Its been 100% driven by arena availability.
Last night the Canada Life Centre featured a concert by Bush called Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour. I've never even heard of them.
You’re not familiar with Bush? One of the more popular rock bands of the 90s/2000s? Glycerine? Fronted by Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband?

Nope. Never heard of them. If I had I'd long forgotten. And I didn't start losing my interest in rock and pop until the mid-00s.

A couple or so of the folks here at the asylum taught me long ago to first, consider the players in the toughest playoffs in sports. Give em' a little time to recover a bit.
