He had that interesting interview where he made the flat statement,”You are lucky to be healthy 40 games a season”.
Few hockey players have as much ferrite as he does.

That's ok because Parayko looks amazing and Suter is fine if not Kessel. Looks like they are missing Stanley, so...

Watching the replay it looked more like a high ankle sprain than a knee issue. If that is it he will be out the rest of the season.

I'k guessing knee but with a likely same result.

Or could it be another Parayko miracle?

That’s kind of what I thought as well. I’m with dhsux…..let’s hope for the Parayko “Gumby” miracle!

TBH looking at the awkward stretch it might even be a groin. Probably not given the leg off the ice when he skated off but with the shock and adrenaline Tyler may have just wanted to be extra careful until further examination. This guy has become one of our best defensmen at a young age.

Tyler Tucker played 19 games for Springfield and wasn't called up to the Blues until December 19.
imagine "If they lose Tucker during the playoffs it's going to hurt them" being said mid-Dec and being real. wow.

incidentally with Springfield's season ending today all those defensemen are available

Who do they bring up with Tucker hurt and Springfield eliminated? Will the bring Corey Schueneman and Dvorsky back up?

If Suter can't go, would you prefer Corey overy Kessel at this stage of the series?

Very true.

That didn’t look good for Tucker. I agree with skilles. I think Suter was also a big banged up but hopefully he’s healthy enough to play now. We need him to at least eat some minor minutes.

I supposed Kessel might be ok if we have to go that route but I’d prefer not to. I’d be more comfortable if the next game was at home but WPG will be able to dictate matchups and they would definitely target Kessel. Will probably target Suter too. Whichever d-man gets insert as the 6th d-man.

I doubt they insert someone from Springfield over Suter or Kessel IMO the only 2 viable options would be Schueneman or Skinner. Schueneman is calm and plays safe. Likely could do on in limited minutes. Skinner is a righty though so he has that going for him. He also plays a calm and safe game and brings a little snarl but Schueneman is better. But again, I doubt they’d go with either.

Suter has been a horse for us.
But if he isn't fully 100%, We have three better then his 70% So my opinion, Shoe, Skin, Kessel is the better play.
Tucker brought some nasty. Neither Suter or Kessel have. And we could use. Its to bad we didn't give another heavy(like Skinner or Loo) a few games in season.

This is probably a super wild az z zz question, but too soon to bring up Otto? Keep on the 3rd pair? Tucker L and Otto is L. Nah just too soon.

He is in his team's Finals series, it is 2-2, Game Five is tomorrow morning and Game Six is Thursday morning.
Presumably G7 Sat or Sun if necessary. They are not flying him to Winnipeg from Sweden to get into G7 next Sunday, that is not happening.

That's just logistically,. Strategically, he is not ready to step into the NHL playoffs as his first game in NA. He might even do ok but I would hate to throw him into that situation.

I would play Kessel before Skinner and maybe Schueneman before both. Kessel has a little more NHL experience, Schueneman might be able to calmly handle some minor minutes.

a detail like that would keep him from stepping in!

I’d expect Stenberg to be called up as one of the black aces. But to actually get into a game? There’d probably have to be 4-5 more injuries at forward for that to happen.

Lindstein? Definitely not happening. Seattle already detailed this but he’s in the middle of SHL championship series. Series tied 2 games apiece. Even if his season in Sweden was over that’d still be a no.

And how about Monty's belief in Tucker? The guy can read his players that's for sure.
Yes he can. And that's the mark of the great ones. They know how to manage egos and when to pull the strings.
