Blues will miss Tyler Tucker
His right knee HAS to be shredded. He was dominating out there too. 4 frickin minutes left in the game. This will mess up the defense something fierce not having him.
Re: Blues will miss Tyler Tucker
And oddly emough his injury didnt happen on the jets late game gooning but just rather a freak accident

Re: Blues will miss Tyler Tucker
Well hopefully the time off has done Suter some good.
Problem is now Leddy likely goes to the right side, as you can't put Kessel in what will essentially be a really high level game.
It won't be easy that's for sure.
Shame really, he was playing extremely well.

Time for the orthos to spin their magic. A few prayers would help also.

Re: Blues will miss Tyler Tucker
The one bright spot is Suter has now had a week of rest. That's big for a guy that played every game of the reg season and is 40 years old. Hopefully, he plays like the Suter of 10 years ago.
Because there's no way they're bringing in Kessel.
Re: Blues will miss Tyler Tucker
Time for some old style hockey with 4 Dmen? Orr never had 5 mates on D.
Parayko-Fowler
Faulk-Broberg
Leddy for spot duty.
Let's roll!

On the 101 post-game Vitale said Suter didn't skate in the pre-game and Kessel did.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 15:18 pmThe one bright spot is Suter has now had a week of rest. Re: Blues will miss Tyler Tucker
It hurts to see a knee bend in such a wrong way. He was in some deep pain.
Suter must be hurting pretty bad not be skating.i cannot believe he is sulking.
If he can find a miracle cure, he could help. His vengeance short-handed goal after Perry booted Binner in the head will not be forgotten. I hope he can play and add some old-school savvy.
He has over 1500 games played in 16 NHL seasons and 135 playoff games, none in a SCF series. You can bet he will bring all he has left for one more grab at the silver chalice.
He ain’t Ray Bourque and we ain’t the 2001 Avalanche, but it would be a nice way to ride off into the sunset, eh?

I read where putting Tucker in Monty told Suter he was coming back in, (I think told Joseph too) his benching was not permanent....but I can not remember the source of that.TBone wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 15:29 pmOn the 101 post-game Vitale said Suter didn't skate in the pre-game and Kessel did.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 15:18 pmThe one bright spot is Suter has now had a week of rest. And how about Monty's belief in Tucker? The guy can read his players that's for sure.

Looking at the replay from the one angle it didn't look terrible. It didn't look like completely collapsed on his leg. If we're lucky he'll be okay.

It’s sounding like Tucker could miss some time and Suter will be back in the lineup.

That was in an article yesterday when Monty said Joseph "may" come back in for Tex. He subsequently mentioned anyone such as Suter coming out was not being benched and could be right back in there.dhsux wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 15:49 pmI read where putting Tucker in Monty told Suter he was coming back in, (I think told Joseph too) his benching was not permanent....but I can not remember the source of that.TBone wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 15:29 pmOn the 101 post-game Vitale said Suter didn't skate in the pre-game and Kessel did.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 15:18 pmThe one bright spot is Suter has now had a week of rest. So, anyways, hopefully Suter's rest brings back some younger Suter magic.
