Hellebuyck and its not even close.

Don't get me wrong, I love Binner. But I find the narrative interesting. Everyone talks about how clutch Binny is but seem to forget that the two years following the cup run he went 0-9 and was terrible.

2019 - Win Stanley Cup
2020 - Covid Cup, Captain didn't pick up a stick during the break, bubble hockey.
2021 - Parayko's bad back, Fudged Covid tests in Colorado forcing Binner and Perron off the ice at morning skate, but were allowed to play. Kadri destroys Faulk in Game 2.
2022 - Goes on a run and gets run by Kadri in Game 3 of Round 2.
2023 - Goes Golfing
2024 - Goes Golfing
2025 - ????????

What 2 years out of the last 50 were unlike any others that the Cup was awarded in? He wasn't great in empty arenas, Covid protocols, or with a destroyed knee. We don't have to worry about 2 of those 3 this year.

Hellebuyck reminds me a lot of Miller. Really good goalie but just can’t seem to get over the hump.

If confidence means anything I'd say you got to go with binnington in this series until helly gets past him. Jordan has all the confidence on himself in the world right now after 4 nations.
