I'd pick Binnington, but I'd rather have the goalie that faces 10 shots than the one that faces 25.

If the Blues can come come close to the Jets in quality shot attempts and limit the penalties, Binner can win.

Whatever goalie lets you climb back in the 5-hole you came from is the real winner.

Don't get me wrong, I love Binner. But I find the narrative interesting. Everyone talks about how clutch Binny is but seem to forget that the two years following the cup run he went 0-9 and was terrible.
2019 - Win Stanley Cup
2020 - Covid Cup, Captain didn't pick up a stick during the break, bubble hockey.
2021 - Parayko's bad back, Fudged Covid tests in Colorado forcing Binner and Perron off the ice at morning skate, but were allowed to play. Kadri destroys Faulk in Game 2.
2022 - Goes on a run and gets run by Kadri in Game 3 of Round 2.
2023 - Goes Golfing
2024 - Goes Golfing
2025 - ????????

What 2 years out of the last 50 were unlike any others that the Cup was awarded in? He wasn't great in empty arenas, Covid protocols, or with a destroyed knee. We don't have to worry about 2 of those 3 this year.

Hellebuyck reminds me a lot of Miller. Really good goalie but just can’t seem to get over the hump.

Give me a healthy Binnington everyday.

Helly is probably the better overall goalie..

Binnington is the better big game or big moment goalie..

If confidence means anything I'd say you got to go with binnington in this series until helly gets past him. Jordan has all the confidence on himself in the world right now after 4 nations.

Also thought the micheal jordan being his sports idol to the buchy question made alot of sense.

Binnington only played against the Jets once this year. Losing 3-2 back in October. Rest of the games had Hofer in net. May end up being a nice advantage. Hellebyuck played all but 1 game against the Blues.

Blues shooters are more familiar with Hellebyuck than the Jets are with Binnington.

Binnington based on Helle being overused and abused.

Good luck Blues fans.

Get to the net and take away his eyes will be a primary strategy. Jets play stingy

It's an easy answer. The one that has won a cup and 4nations. Binnington.

I think the answer is clearer than ever: Binny over Hellesuck.

I had Binnington before the series started.

Binnington is a much better puck manager
