I'm as exasperated by Burly's limp bat as anyone, but right after the guy finally shows some signs of his 24 form going 5 for 9 over his last two games, you bench him 2 games in a row following an off day?

If he's not battling some sort of ailment then it's yet another prime example of why Oli is such a poor manager.
Bumbles sucks. 5 for 9...big deal

85 OPS+ no power
Bumbles as the DH: .250 slugging percentage and .575 OPS
One of a few rough SLG%’s on the team.

Contreras: .313
Winn: .291 (albeit he’s been a bit better over the last 11 games)
Walker: .281
Burleson: .316

Plus Pages has a .281 SLG% over his last 15 games and Arenado has a .345 SLG% over his last 15 games. And Noot has a .365 SLG% over his last 15 games. Amazingly with his .392 SLG% over his last 15 games, VS2 has been one of the best on the team in that category lately. 8O
10 Hr's in their last 19 games 8O

Big time power shortage.

Saggese can't get the speedy Yelich but if there had been a man on second that would have been a great play keeping it in the infield.

Nice 12 pitch inning for Sonny

Let's get some early runs for him!

Noot set a MLB record for the most walks leading off a game in April last night breaking Davey Lopes record, we'll take another one!

Priester break down....19 pitches, 9 strikes....that's 10 balls thrown....and we didn't score, nor advanced any runner.

where was the hit-and-run when Nootbaar was on 1B???? Why didn't Noot try to steal?

We're stuck with Contreras at 1B

Sigh, bats can’t move the runner from 1st base.
