I'm as exasperated by Burly's limp bat as anyone, but right after the guy finally shows some signs of his 24 form going 5 for 9 over his last two games, you bench him 2 games in a row following an off day?

If he's not battling some sort of ailment then it's yet another prime example of why Oli is such a poor manager.
Bumbles sucks. 5 for 9...big deal

So are you the kind of fan who criticizes the team he has been following since childhood when they are struggling, and then quits watching and/or supporting the team? Evidently you must be like a lot of NFL fans I know - change their allegiance every other year or so to one of the teams on the uptick, abandoning their previous favorite.

Most of us on this forum are not satisfied with the current management situation, but that does not mean our love for the team ends.

There is probably a lot of room to not be thrilled about the team and not have
criticism towards every single thing that the team does.

Many here aren't satisfied and most here are still fans.

The pitcher we beat last night has been a stud. So kudos to team, plus yet another stud we have faced this year.

One of a few rough SLG%’s on the team.

Contreras: .313
Winn: .291 (albeit he’s been a bit better over the last 11 games)
Walker: .281
Burleson: .316

Plus Pages has a .281 SLG% over his last 15 games and Arenado has a .345 SLG% over his last 15 games. And Noot has a .365 SLG% over his last 15 games. Amazingly with his .392 SLG% over his last 15 games, VS2 has been one of the best on the team in that category lately. 8O

.387 is league average. Last 14 days average is .391. Cardinals overall SLG% is .401, last 14 days they’ve been .370.

Donovan is 18th in SLG% in the league. Next best on the team is Arenado with the 70th best SLG%.

Ok so we are above average for the season, and just a tick below last 14 games. Not bad with the Staff going six daily. Need the 7/8 inning fixed.

I guess, but virtually every player trending the wrong direction. Need to turn it around. SP is good enough with a good offense. Bullpen needs help and offense needs to improve the trend.

Yea there is that trend, but again the pitching against us has been ridiculous. Seems we draw every pitcher having a good year or an established starter.
