Hellebuyck or Binnington
Who would you rather have in net?
I know Connor has better stats and just won the Jennings Trophy, but Jordan is clutch.
Thoughts?

Re: Hellebuyck or Binnington
We have Binnington. He's won a Cup, he's inside MacKinnon's head, he recently won the 4Nations, and he's been playing well. Why would we want some other guy when we have Binner? Count our blessings.
Re: Hellebuyck or Binnington
Helley is much bigger and more skilled.
Binnington is a much better puck manager

Re: Hellebuyck or Binnington
That is quite the question.
I wonder how many posters will answer it.
I'm predicting Blues in 6 so I guess my answer is JB.......but I must say the perspective of this question had me thinking.

Binner is a winner but you can’t win the cup until you win it…Hellebuyck is eventually gonna come up big when it counts. Will it be this year? Guess we are gonna find out

Ride or die with Binny. He's earned it.
Re: Hellebuyck or Binnington
Jets have never had a team like the 2019 Blues. McDavid hasn’t won a Cup and he might be the best player of all time.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑17 Apr 2025 19:26 pm Binner is a winner but you can’t win the cup until you win it…Hellebuyck is eventually gonna come up big when it counts. When the chips were down, who answered the bell? TWICE. Give me Binnington all day, everyday.bluesXwinXtheXcup wrote: ↑17 Apr 2025 19:09 pm Who would you rather have in net?

Hellebuyck in the regular season.
Binnington in the playoffs. No doubt.

Hellofabuick hasn't won s*** yet. He always breaks down under stress. Binnington all series, every game over that loser.

Re: Hellebuyck or Binnington
Come on Theo- The Jets were every bit as good as the Blues in 2019. They finished ahead of us in the standings and had a 2 goal lead in the pivotal game 5. If Schwartz doesn't miraculously bat the puck out of mid air with 15 seconds left and the Blues end up losing game 5, they would have most likely been out in round 1 and there is no iconic photo of Petro hoisting the Cup....LOL
