Looked as if he got butt ended. Most likely a very nasty bruise.
He’s gonna a lot more bruises comin up.
Great insight!

Thanks Madden.

Montgomery on Thomas: "Just maintenance, just another day. He's one of our best defensive players. He doesn't need the reps." #stlblues

Today's Blues practice was more defensive-centric.

But he'll be the only one, see. No other players will get bruises, see. Just Thomas.

If Connor or Morrissey or Hellebuyck tweak a knee in G1 the whole series could swing the Blues way too

Thomas is the most important player on the Blues. He will be playing 22 minutes per game in all key situations.

He will be targeted much more than other players. Hope that helps

Honestly that is what this series is about for me, if we win thats a bonus but I wanna see these young guys look and act like they belong in the playoffs.

Yup…Thomas needs to continue this into the playoffs and show he can be a difference maker at this level.

This is going to a different experience for him at the NHL level. He’s going to get worked and has to hit and fight back verbally … and claw for his ice.

Hope it helps? I don't need an idiot like you to tell me anything. Fact: It's playoff hockey, every single Blues player will be targeted, as will every Jets player. Hope that helps, but I doubt it will. I'll sit back and await your next idiotic comment.

THE GREATEST GOAL IN BLUES HISTORY.

Some still encourage him, but he only plays nice long enough for the Troll to try and bite back.

As a 3rd/4th line minute player? You’re comparing the 2 in terms of expectations and how he will be treated?

You sound mad. And no treatment is not equal. And not everyone is treated the same. Hope that helps some more

Whether he was “the guy” at that time is irrelevant. He was still there, participated on the biggest stage, saw what it takes. He gained a bigger role in subsequent years. He will be fine.
