That’s not ideal.

Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
still 2 days before game. not saying that it might be a red flag, but if they know the injury, they are probably trying to get him as much rest as possible. Once the series starts, he won't have any rest until golf season starts. Not saying this is a sign of anything. But he still has his scheduled 101 espn segment tomorrow, doubt he would be doing that if he wasn't lacing up for sure on saturday.

Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
As BK mentioned on 101, he's probably getting treatment. Anyone know are they already in Winnipeg?
More importanly, Jets are without top point producers #3 (Ehlers-entire series) and #5(Vilardi-day to day)!?!?!?!?
That's basically us missing Holloway AND Schenn/Buch.
Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
Right. Until I don’t see him out there for Game 1, I’m not going to worry too much about it. At this point in the season sometimes not practicing is just as helpful.
Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
They are giving him a few maintenance day. They wouldnt haver sent down dvorsky if they didnt expect him to play. Thomas is young he will bounce back
Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
i saw on puck pedia they have holloway listed day to day instead of week to week,.
Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
Was it week to week there before and was recently changed? That would be an interesting development. With how tight lipped teams are around playoff injuries, I wouldn't be any more or less surprised if he played Game 1 or missed the whole shebang.

Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
I wouldn't put too much faith in that because from the time he's been injured I've seen both "day to day" some places and "week to week" elsewhere. Only the Blues and Holloway know. His speed/battle is his game so with something ribs or hips either way even if he returns it's more of a necessary gimpy return rather than the more patient return he'd make if this were during the season.
Re: Thomas is not on the ice for practice
Montgomery said Thomas will practice tomorrow.

When it comes to playoff hockey, the players are insane. Pronger literally DIED and played in the next game. Guys have played on broken legs, torn ACL’s, and hips so bad they had to be replaced after the season.
