Can you win with ONLY a good offense. As I stated above….solidify SP and stop giving away L’s, replace Oli and this team could compete.
But management doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. Or they contracted chitty services and somehow think paying them to suck is better than paying them to be gone. Money spent either way

Those opening day boos really are living rent free in your head aren’t they? I imagine you’ve had a lot of nights waking up in a cold sweat
Not really, Banner. It’s actually the “boo birds” on CT I’m referring to.
Why even mention such things. They are instigated comments. Like throwing a left jab.

Because he’s still incredibly bitter about it. Team won. Fans cheered and rooted for the team. Arenado got a standing O. Clydesdales were a hit as always. But all he fixates on from that day is people were mean to the geriatric billionaire and his bow tied prissy sidekick.

He can’t even compliment the new hitting coach without feeling the urge to reference that day anyway he can

Again, it's the "boo birds" on CT, not the boos on opening day.

As far as the new hitting coach? He's doing a great job. Now we need a new pitching coach.

Nice to see guys like Winn and Nootbaar moved out of lineup spots that didn't make sense for their skill set. This is more the offense that I expected last year. Now, hopefully guys can stay healthy. We've managed pretty good with Gorman and hopefully Winn not missing much time, and Pages and Pozo have been great since Herrera got injured. This offense is pretty stacked when he comes back.

Now, I hate to constantly rip on Burleson, but I'm hoping he sees much less playing time when Herrera comes back. Those ABs should go to Gorman and Herrera on days when he isn't catching. I like the guy, but he just can't stop swinging at bad pitches. Unless he figures out how to stop that, I don't have much confidence he's ever going to be much more than a .750 OPS-ish type hitter.

Just the nature of CT, Banner. When the Cardinals are doing badly, the positive posters move into the background. When the Cardinals are doing well, the boo birds move into the background.

With a dedicated owner, C. Bloom in place instead of Mo (on cruise control his final season) and a competent Manager this team could've been even more of a serious contender for the NLC and a playoff spot this season.

And BDWJr wouldn't be looking at multi decades low attendance.

Then why did you feel the need to bring up the “boo birds” being mean to your boyfriends on opening day?

More than BDWJr and Mo, that's for sure.

Do you want a complete team or not? Who wouldn’t want a stellar SP staff AND a competent manager to go along with a good offense. Why does wanting a complete baseball team illicit stupid responses from you…..
If you plan to mow the lawn…..you trim first….then go to start the mower and it won’t crank over are you throwing a party That you trimmed and call it a day……COMPLETE THE PROJECT

One step at a time, Goldfan. Let’s just compliment the offense right now. Okay with you? Since that’s what this thread is all about.

Appears you are using the crawl walk run model of assessment and content.
