Would Utah forfeit their Monday night game in Nashville to be rested for the Blues Tuesday night?
Re: Have to win Tuesday in regulation because the Flames have 3 layups to end the season
Its actually possible the kings will have to win last game for home ice advantage vs oilers if they lose one of their next 2 and oilers win out
Re: Have to win Tuesday in regulation because the Flames have 3 layups to end the season

No they can't just "throw out AHL teams." They can have a few extra skaters but that's it.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 00:08 amVegas and LAK are going to throw out AHL teams. All Calgary has to do is beat SJ in regulationmph6689new wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 00:06 am Getting a point tonight was huge.
Amazingly, Blues still control their destiny with 1 game left.
It’s hard to believe the way we gave back that third period after taking the lead. Just a wacky game. It’s always dangerous playing loose teams with nothing to lose at the end.
Calgary does not have an easy road here.
LA may still have to play for home ice advantage, which if you are playing Edmonton you absolutely want the last change in 4 of those games. Vegas might very well want to eliminate Calgary so they ensure they get the Wild. San Jose is playing for jobs for next year.
These aren't slam dunk wins. They still have to actually play the games.

100% This. Win one to save you a tough series. If it were the Blues, you know it would be discussed.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 13:54 pmNo they can't just "throw out AHL teams." Re: Have to win Tuesday in regulation because the Flames have 3 layups to end the season
Right now we’ve played 81 games, have 94 points with 31 RW and 39 ROW’s.
Calgary has 79 games, 90 points, 29 RW and 34 ROW’s.
If we both win all our remaining games, we’d both have 96 points. The first tie breaker is RW, we’d both have 32. The next tie breaker is ROW, so we’d have 40 and they’d have 37.
Therefore, we win we’re in.
They lose one in regulation , we’re in.
