No he's simply the best catcher and there isn't an eyeball test or stat that says otherwise.
If you're a pitcher, you want him behind the plate. Not a guy who can't throw and frames pitches by moving his glove half a foot every pitch.
Herrera's bat plays, it's just his defense and instincts behind the plate barely pass for acceptable.
