Re: Who are the projected superstars on this team?
I'm going to change this a little. Star and superstar are different to different people. So here's how I see some of the players
Herrera could become an All Star but probably not as a catcher. I think he needs to move to 1st or LF.
Gorman could become an All Star but not a gold glover. He has to cut down on the Ks and a move to 3b, 1b or OF would probably help him
Donovan has the Gold Glove part should win more along with maybe an AS or two
Winn, AS or two and probably some Gold Gloves but needs to get his bat going.
Arenado, I think he has another run at a GG and AS in him
Noot injuries may keep him from reach his potential. I think he could be an AS (possibly the Cards lone pick)
Scott, has all it takes to win GGs and make the AS game IF he can play close to his 2023 AA numbers
Walker, I think the homers will come and with them AS game or two.
On the pitching side the only possible (long shots) for a CY are Gray and Helsley.
The best of the rest are in the minors.

No one at that level on this roster, hopefully one is down below.
Stan Musial come to mind for the Cardinals .. all-time greats in baseball history are ones I think of as 'superstars'
As for current Cardinals , I don't see any 'superstarts' currently but as for 'stars' Jordan Walker has the hitting skill talent to possibly crack the 'star' status. Again , the terms are subjective for sure.
Superstar = Players you know are slam dunk Hall of Famers
Walker (and hopefully J.J. down below) certainly have potential to one day be all-stars (re: stars).
I have high hopes for "Q" one day too.
I. Hererra could easily be one if they make a position change this winter, kids a hitter.

That's why they're called "SUPERSTARS" and not just stars.Cranny wrote: ↑07 Apr 2025 11:56 amHow many future HOFers are on any team?Youboughtit wrote: ↑07 Apr 2025 11:51 amSuperstar = perineal all start consistently top 3 at their position and future Hofer

S. Ohtani = SUPERSTAR Player (Re; Future Hall of Famer)
S. Imanaga = Star Player (Re: All-Star but not a Hall of Famer)

Who are the true "superstars" in the entire history of the Cardinals? Musial, Pujols, Gibson, and Hornsby?

Brock could qualify. Certainly when the spotlight shined the most.

I don't want to be that guy but the typo in this post taints the argument a little bit.Youboughtit wrote: ↑07 Apr 2025 11:51 amSuperstar = perineal all start consistently top 3 at their position and future Hofer

Re: Who are the projected superstars on this team?
